
RailTel Corporation of India Limited has announced a second interim dividend for the financial year 2025–26 following a meeting of its board of directors. The announcement was made in accordance with disclosure requirements under securities regulations.
Along with the dividend declaration, the company also confirmed the record date for determining eligible shareholders and shared details regarding the expected payment timeline.
The board of directors of RailTel approved a second interim dividend of 10% of the paid-up share capital, which translates to ₹1 per equity share with a face value of ₹10.
The announcement was made in compliance with disclosure norms under the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) regulations governing listed companies.
This dividend forms part of the company’s distribution to shareholders for the financial year 2025–26.
The company has fixed Friday, 13 March 2026 as the record date to determine shareholders eligible to receive the interim dividend.
Shareholders whose names appear in the company’s records on this date will qualify for the dividend payment.
RailTel also confirmed that the dividend payment is scheduled for 24 March 2026.
The announcement was formally communicated to both major stock exchanges in India. The disclosure was made under Regulations 30 and 42 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
These regulations require listed companies to promptly inform exchanges about material decisions such as dividend declarations.
RailTel stated that the board meeting where the dividend decision was taken commenced at 11:30 AM and concluded at 2:20 PM.
The outcome of the meeting was subsequently communicated to the exchanges as part of the company’s regulatory obligations.
Shares of RailTel Corporation of India Limited were trading at ₹282.00 on 9 March 2026, reflecting a decline of ₹8.90 or 3.06% compared with the previous closing price of ₹290.90.
During the trading session, the stock opened at ₹289.90, reached a high of ₹289.90, and recorded a low of ₹275.45.
