
Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals reported higher earnings for the March quarter, supported by growth in revenue and operating performance. The company recorded improvement in profitability margins during the quarter and also announced a final dividend for shareholders.

The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹169.3 crore for the fourth quarter, reflecting a 29.8% increase compared with ₹130.4 crore reported in the corresponding period last year.
Revenue from operations increased 13.7% year-on-year to ₹2,785 crore from ₹2,448.7 crore in the year-ago quarter.
EBITDA for the quarter rose 56.1% to ₹255.1 crore compared with ₹163.4 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The EBITDA margin expanded to 9.2% from 6.7% on a year-on-year basis, indicating improvement in operational efficiency and profitability during the quarter.
The board of directors recommended a final dividend of ₹6 per equity share with a face value of ₹10 each, equivalent to 60%.
The proposed dividend is subject to shareholder approval and will be paid within the prescribed timeline following the company’s upcoming annual general meeting.
Shares of Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals gained during trading on May 15 following the quarterly earnings announcement.
The stock was trading at ₹440.00, up ₹15.40 or 3.63%, compared with the previous closing price of ₹424.60.
