Brookfield India REIT Shares in Focus: Announced Fundraise Via Institutional Placement

Brookfield India Real Estate Trust (REIT) shares are likely to attract attention on Friday, April 17, after the company initiated a fresh fundraise through the institutional route. 

In an exchange filing on April 16, the company confirmed the launch, setting a floor price of ₹329.94 per unit, though it did not specify the total size of the offering. We wish to inform you that subsequent to the approval of the unitholders of Brookfield India Real Estate Trust (“Brookfield India REIT”) at the meeting held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, for raising of funds through an institutional placement(s) of units of Brookfield India REIT in one or more placements (the “Issue”), the Issue Committee of the board of directors of Brookprop Management Services Private Limited, the Manager to Brookfield India REIT (“Manager”), at its meeting held today, i.e., Thursday, April, 16, 2026.

Previous Fund Raise

This is the second time in recent months that Brookfield India REIT has tapped institutional investors. Back in December, it had raised ₹3,500 crore via a similar QIP.

Earlier, on March 12, the board had cleared plans to mobilize up to ₹4,000 crore through one or more institutional placements, subject to necessary regulatory and unitholder approvals.
