Blue Jet Healthcare share price (NSE: BLUEJET) fell sharply, hitting a 52-week low near ₹358 on the BSE. The stock has declined about 19% in just 2 trading sessions following disappointing December-quarter earnings and is now trading close to its IPO issue price of ₹346. This fall came even as the broader BSE Sensex showed only minor movement.

Blue Jet Healthcare Q3FY26 Financial Performance

During Q3FY26, the company reported a significant slowdown:

  • Revenue dropped nearly 40% year-on-year due to lower sales of pharma intermediates and artificial sweeteners
  • EBITDA fell by over 60%, and net profit dropped by around 59% year-on-year

Lower demand, inventory adjustments at customer sites, and pricing pressure were key reasons for the weak performance.

Business Strengths and Expansion Plans

Despite near-term pressure, Blue Jet Healthcare has a strong global presence, exporting to more than 50 countries and earning most of its revenue from international markets. The company is a leading Indian maker of contrast media intermediates used in MRI, CT, and X-ray diagnostics and also supplies intermediates for bempedoic acid along with high-intensity sweeteners.

Conclusion

Blue Jet Healthcare’s sharp stock decline reflects weak quarterly earnings, margin pressure. While long-term growth drivers and expansion plans remain in place, near-term recovery will depend on demand improvement, margin stability, and successful execution of new projects.
