
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) delivered a solid operational performance in December 2025, with total cargo throughput increasing 9% year-on-year to 41.9 million metric tonnes (MMT). This growth was largely underpinned by strong container volumes, which surged 18% year-on-year during the month.
For the year-to-date period ending December 2025, APSEZ handled an aggregate cargo volume of 367.3 MMT, reflecting an 11% year-on-year increase. Container cargo continued to be the primary growth driver, registering a robust 21% rise over the corresponding period last year.
On the logistics side, rail volumes in December totaled 59,037 TEUs, broadly in line with the previous year, while GPWIS volumes declined 7% year-on-year to 1.8 MMT. For the April–December period, logistics rail volumes grew 11% year-on-year to 528,872 TEUs, whereas GPWIS volumes remained stable at 16.1 MMT.
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) reported a strong financial performance, with EBITDA for Q2 FY26 rising 27% year-on-year to ₹5,550 crore, while H1 FY26 EBITDA increased 20% year-on-year to ₹11,046 crore. Domestic ports delivered their highest-ever H1 EBITDA margin of 74.2%, and international ports posted record H1 revenue and EBITDA of ₹2,050 crore and ₹466 crore, respectively.

The logistics segment saw H1 revenue nearly double to ₹2,224 crore, driven by the ramp-up of trucking and international freight network services, with RoCE improving to 9% from 6% in FY25. Marine revenue surged 213% year-on-year to ₹1,182 crore in H1 FY26 following vessel acquisitions. Reflecting its strengthened credit profile and sustainability performance, Fitch Ratings revised APSEZ’s outlook to “Stable” from “Negative” while reaffirming its “BBB-” rating, and S&P Global CSA ranked the company among the top 5% of global transportation and transportation infrastructure companies.
