Adani Enterprises Rights Issue Allotment Today: What You Need to Know?

On December 10, 2025, Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL), the flagship firm of the Adani Group, announced the completion of its ~₹25,000-crore rights issue, which is one of the largest rights issues in India. At the close of bidding, Adani Enterprises rights issue garnered a strong oversubscription of 108%.

The offering drew bids for 14.95 crore shares, surpassing the 13.85 crore shares available. While promoters fully subscribed to their entitlement, the public portion was oversubscribed by 30%, with bids for 4.7 crore shares against 3.6 crore on offer.

Adani Enterprises Rights Issue Allotment

As a next step, the rights issue allotment is scheduled for Thursday, 11 December 2025, with the credit of shares to demat accounts expected by Friday, 12 December 2025.

As per the payment plan, investors were required to pay ₹900 per share at the time of application. Two subsequent calls of ₹450 each are scheduled: the first between January 12–27, 2026, and the second from March 2–16, 2026.

Use of Proceeds

Funds raised through the rights issue will be directed toward debt reduction and capital expenditure, including repayment of shareholder loans. The rights shares were offered at ₹1,800 apiece, with eligible shareholders entitled to three rights shares for every 25 held. AEL shares closed at ₹2,213.90 on Wednesday, down 1.3% from the previous session.

Institutional Investors Saw Strong Interest

Beyond promoter participation, major institutional investors, including GQG, SBI Mutual Fund, Aditya Birla, Kotak, and others, also took part, according to market sources. Notably, HNIs and retail investors contributed significantly to the subscription.
