ACME Solar Holdings Ltd has successfully secured ₹4,725 crore in financing from prominent Indian financial institutions. This substantial capital injection aims to support the construction of renewable energy projects while optimising the company's capital structure.
The financing includes ₹2,716 crore from Power Finance Corporation Ltd for the 300 MW ACME Sigma FDRE project, which features renewable energy with 4 hours of battery storage.
Additionally, the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure Development has provided ₹800 crore for the 150 MW ACME Platinum Solar + ESS project, which includes 2 hours of battery storage with 50% availability. Both projects are in advanced stages of construction.
ACME Solar has also secured ₹1,209 crore from Yes Bank for refinancing the operational 300 MW ACME Sikar Solar project. This refinancing reduces the cost of debt initially by 170 basis points and eventually by 195 basis points.
In the current financial year, ACME Solar has secured approximately ₹10,590 crore in greenfield financing, leading to an overall debt tie-up of more than 90% of PPA signed under construction projects.
The company has refinanced debt of approximately ₹3,380 crore, achieving a 135 basis points rate reduction on refinanced debt and an additional rate reduction of 60 basis points on ₹4,035 crore debt for other projects.

ACME Solar has expanded its non-fund based limits from various banks, including ICICI Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank, and EXIM Bank. These limits help reduce the cost of debt through trade finance during the construction stage of projects.
ACME Solar Holdings Limited is a leading integrated renewable energy player with a diversified portfolio spanning solar, wind, storage, FDRE, and hybrid solutions.
The company's total renewable portfolio stands at 7,520 MW, with an operational capacity of 2,942 MW and an under-construction capacity of 4,578 MW, including approximately 15 GWh of BESS installation.
