The latest AMFI data for September 2025 reveals that Unifi Mutual Fund, Old Bridge Mutual Fund and 360 One Mutual Fund hold the highest average ticket sizes in the industry, setting them apart in a competitive mutual fund market. Their per folio investment values reflect investor preference for selective, high-value exposure.
Unifi Mutual Fund dominated the list with an average AUM per folio of ₹19.93 lakh, far surpassing its peers. Old Bridge Mutual Fund occupied the second spot with ₹6.35 lakh, and 360 One Mutual Fund followed closely at ₹5.99 lakh. Despite their relatively smaller AUMs compared to large players like SBI or ICICI Prudential, these funds boast a highly concentrated and affluent investor base, contributing to their high average ticket sizes.
SBI Mutual Fund, even with an enormous ₹12,04,555 crore AUM, recorded a per folio average of ₹5.93 lakh. Kotak Mutual Fund followed with ₹5.30 lakh, while Edelweiss Mutual Fund and HSBC Mutual Fund posted over ₹5 lakh each. Overall, 18 fund houses reported average ticket sizes above the industry average of ₹3.09 lakh, while 28 fell below.
Between June and September 2025, Unifi Mutual Fund saw the most remarkable growth at 26.8%, increasing its average AUM per folio from ₹15.72 lakh to ₹19.93 lakh. Union Mutual Fund, Groww Mutual Fund, Navi Mutual Fund and PGIM India Mutual Fund also posted over 5% increases. In contrast, Bandhan Mutual Fund saw a 12% decline, followed by Bajaj Finserv Mutual Fund and Invesco Mutual Fund with more than 7% drops each.

The mutual fund industry’s average ticket size slightly decreased from ₹3.12 lakh in June 2025 to ₹3.09 lakh in September 2025. This marginal dip signals a stabilised but cautious investor trend. Even newer players like Groww and Navi are capturing investor attention through digital democratisation, though ticket sizes remain modest in that segment.
Unifi, Old Bridge and 360 One Mutual Funds stand as examples of focused investor bases with high-value engagements. As the mutual fund industry grows in reach, discerning investment patterns continue to emerge across different fund structures and firm sizes.
