Mirae Asset Mutual Fund has announced the launch of the Mirae Asset Infrastructure Fund, an open-ended equity scheme focused on companies linked to India’s infrastructure ecosystem.
The fund aims to capture opportunities in sectors such as construction, logistics, power, telecom, building materials, healthcare infrastructure, and financing entities supporting the sector.
The New Fund Offer (NFO) opens on November 17 and closes on December 1, 2025. The scheme will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase from December 8.
Investors can start with a minimum investment of ₹5,000 and in multiples of ₹1 thereafter. The fund will be benchmarked against the BSE India Infrastructure Total Return Index (TRI) and managed by Bharti Sawant.
At least 80% of the fund’s assets will be invested in equity and equity-related instruments of infrastructure-linked companies. Up to 10% may be allocated to Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs), while the remainder will be placed in debt and money market instruments for liquidity.
According to Mirae Asset, India’s infrastructure sector is witnessing strong growth, driven by both public and private capital expenditure. Government initiatives like PM Gati Shakti, Bharatmala, Sagarmala, and the National Infrastructure Pipeline continue to boost the sector’s long-term prospects.
