Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund has launched a new fund offer (NFO) for the Kotak Nifty200 Value 30 Index Fund.
The offer opened on January 15, 2026, and will close on January 29, 2026. The scheme is open-ended and falls under the Equity: Value Oriented category.
The fund tracks the Nifty200 Value 30 Total Returns Index (TRI). This index consists of 30 stocks selected from the wider Nifty 200 universe.
The selection is based on valuation-related parameters, with the aim of representing relatively lower-valued companies across sectors within the index framework.
The stated objective of the scheme is to generate returns that, before expenses, closely correspond to the total returns of the underlying index.
The fund does not aim to outperform the benchmark and is subject to tracking error. Performance is linked to movements in the index and overall market conditions.
The scheme follows a passive investment strategy. It invests in securities that form part of the Nifty200 Value 30 TRI, generally in the same proportion as the index. Portfolio changes are made only when there are changes in the index composition or weightage.
The fund carries a Very High risk rating on the riskometer, reflecting full exposure to equity markets.
The minimum investment amount is ₹100. The fund is available in Growth and IDCW options under the direct and regular plan. There is no lock-in period and no exit load, allowing investors to redeem units without additional charges.
Fund Management and Administration
The scheme is managed by Devender Singhal. Computer Age Management Services Ltd. has been appointed as the registrar and transfer agent. The fund is offered by Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund.
The Kotak Nifty200 Value 30 Index Fund offers index-based exposure to a selected set of value-oriented stocks from the Nifty 200. Its structure and features are in line with other passive equity index funds tracking narrow market segments.
