Invesco India Consumption Fund is an open-ended equity scheme following the consumption theme. It invests in equities and equity-related instruments of companies expected to gain from India’s consumption growth. The scheme will maintain a diversified portfolio spread across multiple sectors.
The New Fund Offer will open on October 3, 2025 and close on October 17, 2025. The minimum investment is ₹1,000 per application, with additional investments allowed in multiples of ₹1. The exit load is 0.50% if units are redeemed or switched within three months of allotment and nil thereafter.
The main objective is to generate long-term capital appreciation. The scheme aims to benefit from consumption-driven opportunities arising from urbanisation, higher discretionary spending, digital adoption, and changing lifestyle preferences. There is no guarantee that the stated objective will be achieved.
The fund will adopt both top-down and bottom-up strategies for stock selection. It plans to invest across large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap companies. Overseas securities that align with the consumption theme may also be considered.
The portfolio is expected to include companies in consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, financial services, e-commerce, hospitality, and media. Businesses involved in premium and luxury products may also form part of the allocation.
Applications can be made through Systematic Investment Plans (SIP), Systematic Transfer Plans (STP), and Applications Supported by Blocked Amount (ASBA). Units will be available for repurchase and redemption as per standard open-ended scheme norms.
The scheme will be managed by Manish Poddar, who will handle portfolio allocation and selection of securities under the theme.
