According to the company’s filing with the NSE and BSE, both orders were issued by a domestic entity, the Ministry of Defence. The nature of the work involves upgrading existing Anti-Drone Systems to improve operations. The company stated that the orders are expected to be completed within one year.
Zen Technologies clarified that neither its promoters nor any group companies have any interest in the entity awarding the order. It also confirmed that the transaction does not qualify as a related party deal.
Zen Technologies Limited, based in Hyderabad, develops and supplies training simulators, combat systems, and anti-drone solutions for defence and security agencies. The company has been working with the Indian armed forces on multiple projects focused on indigenous defence technology.
The company noted that both orders will be executed within a one-year timeframe from the date of receipt. The total order value of ₹289 crore includes applicable taxes and will contribute to Zen Technologies’ ongoing projects for the Ministry of Defence.
