Waaree Energies Share Price in Focus On Securing Orders For Solar Modules

Waaree Energies Limited said it has received multiple orders for the supply of solar modules from Indian and international clients, as per the exchange filings. The company received orders for 220 MW, 210 MW, and 140 MW solar modules from customers involved in setting up renewable power projects in India.
Overseas Contract Secured
Alongside domestic orders, Waaree Solar Americas Inc., the company’s wholly owned U.S. subsidiary, received an additional order for 122 MW of solar modules. The customer is a developer and operator of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects in the United States.
Execution Timeline and Nature of Orders
All the orders are one-time supply contracts and will be delivered during FY 2025–26 and FY 2026–27. The combined capacity of the new orders stands at 692 MW. The company did not disclose the commercial value of the deals in its filing.
Customer and Transaction Details
Waaree stated that the customers placing these orders are independent entities involved in renewable energy generation and project development. The company confirmed that its promoters or promoter group have no financial or operational interest in these entities. The orders do not come under related party transactions.
Subsidiary Involvement
The U.S. order was received through Waaree Solar Americas, showing continued activity from its international arm. The subsidiary manages solar module supplies and partnerships with energy project developers in overseas markets, particularly in large-scale installations.
