
On October 29, 2025, Solarworld Energy Solutions Limited announced that it had signed a binding term sheet for the execution of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) works for a large-scale solar power project.
The 200 MWac/272 MWp ground-mount solar project marks another milestone in the company’s expansion in India’s renewable energy sector.
As per the company’s regulatory filing, Solarworld has received an EPC order valued at approximately ₹802.84 crore (excluding taxes) from a leading renewable energy company. The project involves the design, engineering, procurement, and construction of a 200 MWac/272 MWp ground-mount solar power facility.
The order represents a significant commercial contract for the company and is expected to be completed in the financial year 2026-27, according to the agreed terms.
The contract is domestic in nature and classified as a commercial order. The project will be executed entirely within India, reinforcing the nation’s commitment to expanding its clean energy capacity.
The execution of this project aligns with Solarworld’s long-term strategy to strengthen its EPC portfolio and increase its footprint across high-capacity solar installations.

The company’s disclosure, made in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, stated that there is no promoter or group company interest in the awarding entity.
Additionally, the transaction does not fall under related party arrangements, ensuring full compliance and transparency in execution.
On October 29, 2025, Solarworld Energy Solutions share price opened at ₹302.00 on NSE, above the previous close of ₹299.55. During the day, it surged to ₹347.70 and dipped to ₹301.30. The stock is trading at ₹343.80 as of 1:25 PM. The stock registered a significant gain of 14.77%.
The ₹802.84 crore EPC contract adds to Solarworld’s growing portfolio of large-scale renewable projects in India. With completion targeted for FY 2026-27, this project underscores the company’s technical capabilities and reinforces its role in India’s transition toward sustainable energy infrastructure.
