Reliance Consumer Products, the FMCG unit of Reliance Industries, is launching a new packaged water brand called Campa Sure, as per recent reports. The company is entering a ₹30,000 crore industry where several small and regional players already operate.
Reliance is working on agreements with about 20 regional bottlers, starting from northern India. These collaborations will cover bottling and branding while maintaining production standards. The company has confirmed it is not considering acquisitions.
The packaged water sector has faced challenges with counterfeit products. Reliance has said that tying up with local bottlers will help maintain common standards and create checks for quality and distribution.
Campa Sure will be sold at prices lower than leading bottled water brands.
In comparison, a 1-litre bottle from other brands like Bisleri, Kinley, or Aquafina usually costs around ₹20.
Reliance had earlier relaunched Campa Cola at lower price points, including ₹10 bottles, which led competitors to introduce smaller and cheaper options. The same approach is now being used for Campa Sure.
The launch comes after GST on packaged water was reduced from 18% to 5% under GST 2.0 from September 22, 2025. The tax change has made it easier for manufacturers to cut prices, creating room for new products at lower rates.
Reliance already sells bottled water under its Independence brand at a higher price point. Campa Sure will act as the value option, allowing the company to address different consumer groups and distribution channels.
As of 3 October 2025, 10:14 AM, Reliance Industries share price was trading at ₹1,361.90, down ₹6.80 or 0.50% for the day.

With Campa Sure, Reliance is adding a second bottled water brand to its FMCG portfolio. This brings a low-cost option into a competitive market dominated by national players and regional firms.
