
As per HUDCO Q2FY26 earnings results, the company has reported a steady rise in profitability and income. The state-owned housing finance company posted a 7.51% increase in net profit to ₹709.83 crore, compared to ₹688.62 crore in the same quarter last year.
Total income jumped 28.69% year-on-year, reaching ₹3,251.02 crore, while interest income climbed 30.01% to ₹3,197.32 crore, reflecting the company’s expanding lending operations and improving asset base.

Riding on strong demand for urban infrastructure financing, HUDCO has revised its loan book target upward to ₹1.6 lakh crore, up from the earlier goal of ₹1.5 lakh crore. The company also aims to disburse ₹50,000 crore in FY26, compared to ₹40,000 crore previously, and is targeting a net interest margin (NIM) of 3.3%.
This growth is supported by increasing activity in sectors such as roads, ports, airports, energy, and real estate, where HUDCO continues to play a key role as a major financier.
HUDCO is expanding its focus on Greenfield projects across multiple infrastructure sectors and has launched the Urban Invest Window (UiWIN) platform. This initiative is designed to promote diversified investments in urban infrastructure, aligning with the company’s long-term vision of supporting India’s urban growth.
The company has also started lending selectively to well-structured private sector projects, signaling a gradual diversification of its loan portfolio beyond public sector entities.
As of 12:05 PM, HUDCO share price was priced at ₹225.51, with a market capitalisation of around ₹44,762 crore. The stock has gained about 4% over the past year, indicating investor confidence in the company’s growth trajectory.
Looking ahead, HUDCO’s strong financial performance, increased disbursement targets, and focus on infrastructure growth position it well to capitalize on India’s ongoing urbanization and development push.
