Citius Transnet Investment Trust is an infrastructure investment trust focused on the transport sector in India. The trust acquires, manages, and invests in transport infrastructure assets, primarily road projects, aiming to generate stable income streams from operational assets.
As of the date of the draft offer document, the trust’s portfolio spans 3,406.71 lane-kilometres across nine states in India. This includes seven toll-based projects covering 3,043.21 lane-kilometres and three annuity-based projects covering 363.49 lane-kilometres, providing a mix of revenue models.
The sponsor of the trust is Epic TransNet Infrastructure Private Limited, which is fully owned by funds under Infrastructure Yield Trust, including Infrastructure Yield Plus II, Infrastructure Yield Plus IIA, and India Infrastructure Yield Plus II. These funds are managed by EAAA India Alternatives Limited, an infrastructure-focused investment manager.
EAAA India Alternatives Limited operates a diversified investment platform targeting large and under-penetrated asset classes. As of June 30, 2025, it is supported by a 26-member asset management team and 76 investment professionals, catering to global pension funds, insurance companies, and high-net-worth investors.
