BlackRock’s insiders collectively own a relatively small portion of the company. Mr. Adebayo O. Ogunlesi holds the largest insider stake at 0.86% as of December 2, 2025. Ms. Susan L. Wagner owns 0.28% as of July 24, 2025. Chairman and CEO Mr. Laurence D. Fink holds 0.16% as of July 25, 2025, while President Mr. Robert S. Kapito owns 0.14% as of November 13, 2025. These stakes align leadership interests with shareholders but do not confer control.
BlackRock is governed by its board of directors and executive management under strict regulatory and fiduciary standards. Shareholders exercise influence through voting rights, while operational control rests with management.
