Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 13 September, 2023

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with the Sensex down around 50 points or 0.08% at 67,171 and the Nifty-50 down around 17 points or 0.08% at 19,977. About 1,185 shares have advanced, 1,720 declined, and 106 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Nestle India Ltd, ITC Ltd and Bharti Airtel Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were JSW Steel Ltd, Bajaj FinServ Ltd and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. 

The BSE FMCG Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector. The BSE FMCG Index soared 0.18%, led by Magadh Sugar & Energy Ltd and Tasty Bite Eatables Ltd while the BSE Realty Index was down 1.7% dragged down by The Phoenix Mills Ltd and Macrotech Developers Ltd.    

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.84% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.68%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Ajanta Pharma Ltd and SJVN Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were IOL Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Ltd and GMR Power & Urban Infra. 

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: KEC International Ltd, NIIT Ltd and Restaurants Brands Asia Ltd.
