Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 09 May, 2024

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading in the red with the Sensex down around 520 points or 0.72% at 72,948, while the Nifty-50 was down around 161 points or 0.72% at 22,141. About 1,444 shares have advanced; 1,901 declined and 179 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Tata Motors Ltd and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Tech Mahindra Ltd and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.36% and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.42%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Torrent Power Ltd and Relaxo Footwear Ltd. In contrast, WPIL Ltd and SKF India Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Auto Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Capital Goods Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Auto Index gained by 1.80%, up by TVS Motors Ltd and Eicher Motors Ltd while the BSE Capital Goods Index is down by 1.40% dragged by Kalpataru Projects International Ltd and Finolex Chemicals Ltd

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Jupiter Wagons Ltd, Adani Power Ltd and Patel Integrated Logistics Ltd.
