Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 30 April, 2024

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 200 points or 0.28% at 74,880, while the Nifty-50 was up around 74 points or 0.33% at 22,717. About 2,000 shares have advanced; 935 declined and 110 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd and Tata Motors Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Axis Bank, Titan Company Ltd and Bharti Airtel Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.82% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.58%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Trent Ltd and JSW Energy Ltd. In contrast, Wendt (India) Ltd and Repro India Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Auto Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Bankex Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Auto Index gained by 0.65%, up by Apollo Tyres Ltd and Sundram Fasteners Ltd while the BSE Bankex Index is down by 0.1% dragged by IDFC First Bank and Axis Bank

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: KEC International Ltd, Vesuvius India Ltd and Usha Martin Ltd.
