Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited is in the spotlight as investors anticipate the company’s financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. The optimism also coincides with a historic national achievement in clean energy, with India meeting its Paris Agreement target 5 years ahead of schedule.

Board Meeting Scheduled for July 17

The company has informed the stock exchanges that its Board of Directors will meet on Thursday, July 17, 2025, to approve and take on record the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results under Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) for Q1 FY26. These results are expected to reflect the company’s performance amid rising demand for renewable energy solutions.

Waaree Renewable Share Price Rallies to 52-Week High

On July 16, 2025, Waaree Renewable share price (NSE: WAAREERTL) opened at ₹1,133.00, down from its previous close of ₹1,146.70. At 10:15 AM, the share price of Waaree Renewable was trading at ₹1,246.00, up by 8.66% on the NSE. Notably, the stock price hit its 52-week high at ₹1,267.90 today.

India Achieves 50% Non-Fossil Fuel Capacity Milestone

In a parallel development, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) announced that India has achieved 50% of its total installed electricity capacity from non-fossil fuel sources as of July 2025, five years ahead of its 2030 target under the Paris Agreement. The country’s non-fossil capacity now stands at 242.8 GW out of a total 484.8 GW. This includes solar, wind, hydro, nuclear, and other renewable technologies.

India also generated 2,030 terawatt-hours (TWh) of electricity in 2024, of which 240.5 TWh came from renewable sources, according to the Energy Institute’s Statistical Review of World Energy.
