Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 21 September, 2023

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with the Sensex down around 535 points or 0.80% at 66,267 and the Nifty-50 down around 145 points or 0.75% at 19,756. About 1,674 shares have advanced, 1,528 declined, and 205 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were State Bank of India, Tech Mahindra Ltd and Reliance Industries Ltd, whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Consultancy Ltd, HCL Technologies Ltd and ICICI Bank.

The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index soared 0.51%, led by The Phoenix Mills Ltd and Macrotech Developers Ltd while the BSE IT Index was down 1.19% dragged down by 63 Moons Technologies Ltd and KPIT Technologies Ltd.  

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.22% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.16%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were REC Ltd and UCO Bank while the top small-cap gainers were KIOCL Ltd and Parveg Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: EKI Energy Services Ltd, Indian Overseas Bank and Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd.
