Voltas Q3 FY26 Earnings Results: Profit Slips as Seasonality Hits, AC Business Shows Recovery

Voltas Limited announced its consolidated financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025. Despite seasonal challenges, the company continued to strengthen its leadership in the cooling segment, supported by a recovery in the room air conditioner (RAC) business and steady performance from its diversified portfolio.

Voltas Consolidated Q3 FY26 and 9-Month Results

For Q3 FY26, Voltas reported total income of ₹3,120 crore, marginally lower than ₹3,164 crore in the same quarter last year.
Profit before tax (PBT) stood at ₹116 crore, compared with ₹191 crore a year ago, while profit after tax (PAT) declined to ₹84 crore from ₹131 crore.

For the nine months ended December 2025, total income came in at ₹9,552 crore, down from ₹10,890 crore in the year-ago period.
PBT declined to ₹373 crore from ₹848 crore, while PAT fell to ₹257 crore from ₹599 crore.

Focus on Market Leadership and Diversification

Management remained focused on strengthening its leadership in the cooling segment through targeted market expansion, improved channel readiness, and stronger retail and digital engagement.

At the same time, Voltas’ diversified businesses across electro-mechanical projects and engineering products provided stability and helped maintain business continuity.

Voltas Share Price Movement

Voltas share price (NSE: VOLTAS) was trading at ₹1,331.40 on the NSE at 11:50 am IST on January 30, down ₹17.70 or 1.31% for the day. The stock opened at ₹1,341.40, reached an intraday high of ₹1,364.20, and dipped to a low of ₹1,280.00. The company offers a dividend yield of 0.53%, with a quarterly dividend of ₹1.76 per share. Over the past year, the stock has traded between a 52-week high of ₹1,531.00 and a 52-week low of ₹1,135.00.

Conclusion

Voltas faced seasonal pressure on earnings in Q3 FY26, but recovery in the room air conditioner segment and steady performance across home appliances and project businesses provided resilience.
