The Indian stock market closed nearly unchanged on December 30, 2025, as gains in auto, metal, and select financial stocks were offset by losses in FMCG, IT, and healthcare shares. Bajaj Auto, Hindalco, and Tata Steel supported the upside on the Nifty 50, reflecting sector-specific buying interest. On the other hand, stocks like Eternal, Eicher Motors, and Tata Consumer Products faced selling pressure due to profit booking and broader weakness in their respective sectors.
