
Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of Tata Power, has commissioned a total of 10 GW of EPC renewable energy projects, strengthening its leadership in India’s renewable energy space. This includes 9.7 GW of solar capacity and 290 MW of wind capacity, covering both in-house and third-party projects.
During the first nine months of FY26, TPREL commissioned 1.88 GW of renewable energy capacity, marking a 33% rise compared to 1.4 GW commissioned in the same period last year. This growth highlights the company’s strong execution capabilities, efficient project management, and focus on quality and safety.
In Q3FY26, TPREL commissioned 941 MW of renewable projects, its highest-ever quarterly addition. This is a 139% jump compared to 393 MW added in Q3FY25. Key projects during the quarter included solar projects for NHPC, NLC, and SJVNL in Rajasthan, and a 187 MW wind project in Tamil Nadu.
Out of the 1.88 GW commissioned in FY26 so far, 1,329 MW was completed for third-party clients, while 546 MW was for in-house projects. These included 359 MW of solar and 187 MW of wind projects, executed across five states under challenging soil and weather conditions.
TPREL’s total utility-scale operational capacity now stands at 6 GW, comprising 4.8 GW of solar and 1.2 GW of wind power. The company plans to commission an additional 0.75 GW of utility-owned renewable capacity during FY26.

Tata Power is one of India’s leading integrated power companies with a total capacity of 16.3 GW across renewable and conventional energy. Nearly 46% of its capacity comes from clean energy, and the company aims to achieve Net Zero by 2045, serving around 13 million customers nationwide.

The stock opened at ₹345.70 and moved between a high of ₹347.55 and a low of ₹342.50 during the session. The stock has a 52-week high of ₹416.80 and a 52-week low of ₹326.35. The company offers a dividend yield of 0.65%, with a quarterly dividend amount of ₹0.56 per share.
