Details of the NCD Allotment
On December 19, 2025, Tata Power's Committee of Directors approved the allotment of 1,00,000 NCDs for each series. Series I carries a fixed rate of 7.05%, while Series II offers 7.25%. Both series are unsecured, senior, redeemable, rated, listed, taxable, and non-cumulative.
The NCDs, each with a face value of ₹1,00,000, have been issued for cash, aggregating to ₹2,000 crore. Series I has a tenor of 3 years, whereas Series II spans 5 years. The allocation was executed through the multiple yield allotment method on the Electronic Book Building Platform of BSE Limited.
Listing and Regulatory Compliance
The NCDs are proposed to be listed on the Wholesale Debt Market Segment of BSE Limited. This move aligns with the regulatory framework set by SEBI, ensuring compliance with the Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.
Coupon Rate Discovery
The coupon rates for the NCDs were determined on December 18, 2025, using the multiple yield allotment method. This approach facilitated the discovery of competitive rates, with Series I at 7.05% and Series II at 7.25%.
