Railways Awards Major HVAC Service Contract to Subros
Indian Railways has placed a Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract for Cab HVAC Units with Subros following a recently concluded tender. The order includes ₹44.22 crore plus ₹7.96 crore in GST, taking the total value to approximately ₹52.18 crore.
The contract was placed by Banaras Locomotive Works, Varanasi, and will run for a period of 3 years. The company confirmed that the transaction has no promoter or related party involvement.
Subros has long supplied driver cabin and coach air-conditioning systems to Indian Railways, and this order further strengthens its presence in the segment.
Further Strengthening the Railways Order Book
With this latest win, Subros’ railway business order intake for the current financial year has reached roughly ₹86.35 crore, covering both supply-based and maintenance-based contracts.
The new project boosts the company’s service capabilities alongside its established product offerings.
