Domestic equity benchmarks ended lower in the previous session, reflecting cautious sentiment.
On January 19, the BSE Sensex closed at 83,246.18, down 324.17 points or 0.39%, while the NSE Nifty 50 settled at 25,585.50, declining 108.85 points or 0.42%.
As markets digest earnings announcements and corporate developments, several stocks are expected to remain in focus in the next session.
LTIMindtree reported a mixed performance for Q3 FY26. Net profit stood at ₹959.6 crore, marking a sequential decline of 30.5%, largely due to a one-time impact from the implementation of new labour codes.
Revenue rose 3.7% quarter-on-quarter to ₹10,781 crore.
EBIT increased to ₹1,737 crore, with margins improving to 16.1%. Dollar revenue grew 3% sequentially to $1,208 million.
Adani Power received a favourable ruling from the NCLAT, Delhi, which dismissed appeals challenging its ₹4,000 crore resolution plan for Vidarbha Industries Power Limited.
The tribunal’s decision upholds the approval granted earlier by the NCLT Mumbai Bench, providing clarity on the resolution process.
Tata Capital posted a 19.7% quarter-on-quarter rise in net profit to ₹790 crore for Q3 FY26. Net interest income increased 44% to ₹2,541 crore.
Growth in assets under management across retail, SME and housing finance segments, along with sustained credit demand, supported overall performance.
Amber Enterprises has been allotted 100 acres of land by YEIDA to establish a manufacturing facility in Sector 8 near Jewar Airport.
The allotment was made on January 18, 2026. Additionally, group company Ascent-K Circuit Pvt Ltd received 16 acres in Sector 10 for another unit.
The combined projects involve a phased investment of ₹6,785 crore and are expected to generate significant employment opportunities.
Persistent Systems is scheduled to announce its Q3 FY26 results on January 20. Market expectations indicate steady revenue growth, with dollar revenue projected to rise 3.6% quarter-on-quarter to $421 million, while rupee revenue is estimated at ₹3,751 crore. Growth is expected to be supported by BFSI and healthcare segments, although margins may see mild pressure.
With quarterly results and corporate announcements continuing to shape sentiment, investor attention is likely to remain on IT, financial services, power and manufacturing stocks. Earnings performance, order visibility and business outlook statements may influence stock-specific movements in the near term.
