Market sentiment stayed cautious but stock-specific movements were driven by quarterly results, regulatory approvals and management commentary.
Bharti Airtel reported a healthy operational performance for the December quarter, supported by ARPU expansion, strong data usage and sustained growth across its India, Africa and digital businesses.
Consolidated revenue rose 3.5% quarter-on-quarter to ₹53,982 crore, while EBITDA increased 4% QoQ to ₹30,782 crore.
Hero MotoCorp reported a net profit of ₹1,348.5 crore for the third quarter. Profit before tax, before exceptional items, stood at ₹1,896 crore, reflecting a 19% year-on-year growth. Revenue for the quarter came in at ₹12,328.3 crore.
Kaynes Technology reported revenue of ₹804 crore for the quarter, registering a growth of 21% year-on-year. However, the performance fell short of street expectations, which had projected revenue growth of around 50% to ₹990 crore.
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, one of the two demerged entities of Tata Motors Ltd., reported a net loss of ₹3,486 crore for the October–December quarter. The loss was primarily led by multiple one-off items. This compares with a net profit of ₹5,485 crore reported in the same quarter last year.
Nykaa reported a strong Q3 performance, with net profit rising sharply to ₹66.3 crore from ₹26 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue grew 26.7% year-on-year to ₹2,873.3 crore, while EBITDA increased 63.3% to ₹230 crore. EBITDA margin expanded to 8% from 6.2% in the corresponding quarter last year.

With Q3 earnings announcements, regulatory approvals and corporate updates continuing to influence market sentiment, stocks across telecom, automobiles, electronics manufacturing, are likely to remain in focus.
