
Newgen Software has announced its financial results for the December 2025 quarter, showcasing a 5% year-on-year (YoY) increase in revenue from operations, reaching ₹400.28 crore. However, the company experienced a decline in net profit during the same period.
In the December 2025 quarter, Newgen Software's revenue from operations grew by 5.03% YoY, amounting to ₹400.28 crore, compared to ₹381.11 crore in the previous year. Despite this growth, the revenue saw a slight decline of 0.13% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) from ₹400.79 crore in the September 2025 quarter.
The total income for the quarter increased by 7.92% YoY to ₹420.33 crore, up from ₹389.49 crore a year earlier, and increased by 1.52% QoQ from ₹414.02 crore in the September 2025 quarter.
Newgen Software faced challenges in profitability, with net profit (PAT) declining by 29.4% YoY to ₹62.82 crore in the December 2025 quarter, down from ₹89.00 crore a year ago. The net profit also fell by 23.1% QoQ from ₹81.74 crore in the September 2025 quarter.
The profit before tax also saw a decrease of 24.9% YoY, reaching ₹80.05 crore, compared to ₹106.63 crore in the previous year.

For the first 9 months of FY26, Newgen Software's revenue from operations increased by 5.9% YoY to ₹1,121.73 crore, up from ₹1,059.69 crore in the same period last year. However, the net profit for 9M FY26 declined by 6.1% YoY to ₹194.28 crore, compared to ₹206.90 crore a year ago. The earnings per share (EPS) for this period stood at ₹13.83, down from ₹14.79 in the corresponding period last year.
