
ICICI Bank has announced changes to its credit card fee structure, reward point eligibility criteria, and foreign transaction charges effective January 15, 2026. These adjustments will influence how customers spend and access benefits across various ICICI credit cards.
From January 15, 2026, several ICICI Bank credit cards will see modified terms in terms of rewards, entertainment benefits, and applicable service charges.
Cardholders using Emeralde Metal, Times Black, Amazon Pay, and MakeMyTrip cards should take note of specific updates. There will also be new charges applicable for wallet reloads and gaming transactions.
Emeralde Metal cardholders will continue earning 6 reward points per ₹200 spent on eligible retail transactions. Transactions related to fuel, government services, rent, property management, taxes, and wallet loads are excluded.
To enjoy BookMyShow offers, a quarterly spend threshold of ₹25,000 must be met. For example, to access this benefit during April to June 2026, one must spend ₹25,000 between December 26, 2025 and March 25, 2026.
For Emeralde Metal cardholders, all add-on cards issued from January 15, 2026, will attract a one-time issuance charge of ₹3,500.
Loads to third-party wallets such as Amazon Pay, Paytm, or MobiKwik will attract a 1% transaction fee if the amount is ₹5,000 or more.

Additionally, starting January 15, 2026, a 2% fee will apply to transactions on gaming platforms like Dream11, Rummy Culture, and MPL.

The fee for cash payments made at ICICI branches to settle credit card bills will increase from ₹100 to ₹150 per transaction, effective January 15, 2026.
