Hatsun Agro Products has reported a 48% year‑on‑year rise in net profit to ₹60.6 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025. The company had posted a net profit of ₹41 crore in the same quarter last year.

The official Q3 FY26 results were released after an inadvertent leak in which a draft of the unaudited financials was mistakenly shared by a key managerial person on WhatsApp. Hatsun Agro confirmed that the published numbers reflect audited and verified information filed through the exchanges.

Revenue Growth and Operational Performance

The company reported revenue of ₹2,364 crore for Q3FY26, marking a 17.6% increase from ₹2,010 crore recorded in the same quarter last year. Management indicated that the rise in revenue was supported by steady demand across core dairy categories such as milk, curd, ice‑cream, and value‑added dairy products.

Stable milk procurement from its farmer network contributed to consistent supply levels during the quarter. Hatsun Agro noted that category performance remained strong across key regions, helping sustain the revenue momentum.

Margin Expansion and EBITDA Trends

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 19.2% year‑on‑year to ₹256 crore in Q3FY26. EBITDA margin improved slightly by 10 basis points to 10.8%, compared to 10.7% in the prior year period.

The company attributed the improvement to efficiency gains across procurement, processing, and distribution segments. Hatsun Agro stated that cost controls and stable input availability contributed to operational stability during the quarter.

Management Commentary on Business Drivers

RG Chandramogan, Chairman of Hatsun Agro, stated that the company’s performance reflects the strong operational foundation built over several years. He highlighted that strengthening the core dairy portfolio has remained a key strategic focus across markets.

Chandramogan added that enhanced efficiency across the value chain, from engaging with farmers to last‑mile distribution, helped maintain quality and freshness in the company’s offerings. He also noted that the positive growth trends are supported by wider distribution reach and continued capacity additions.

Hatsun Agro Share Price Performance

Conclusion

Hatsun Agro’s Q3FY26 results highlight robust growth in profit, revenue, and operational performance. The company benefitted from steady consumer demand, efficient procurement systems, and enhanced distribution capabilities.

Its marginal improvement in EBITDA margin reinforces operational discipline despite broader cost pressures in the dairy sector. Hatsun Agro’s leadership remains focused on strengthening core categories, expanding capacity, and investing in brand‑led growth initiatives.
