
GK Energy Limited has received an amended Letter of Empanelment (LoE) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply of off-grid solar photovoltaic water pumping systems under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana / PM-KUSUM B scheme.
The amended LoE covers an additional 10,000 DC solar water pumps of 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP capacity to be supplied across Maharashtra. The total value of the order stands at ₹254.30 Crores and with GST Value ₹276.93 Crores (inclusive of GST).
The scope of work includes design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar water pumping systems. The execution timeline has been set at 60 days from the issuance of the work order or notice to proceed.
MSEDCL has issued the LoE with a specific condition stating that the allotted quantity remains subject to the overall tender quantity. Once the tender progress reaches 1,00,000 pumps, the balance quantity under this LoE will stand cancelled.
The company confirmed that the order has been awarded by a domestic entity and does not fall under related party transactions. It also stated that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the awarding entity.

As of December 24, 2025, at 2:30 PM, GK Energy share price is trading at ₹155.78 per share, reflecting a surge of 2.79% from the previous closing price.
The amended empanelment strengthens GK Energy’s order book and reinforces its position in India’s solar irrigation segment, while execution timelines and tender-linked conditions will remain key factors to monitor going forward.
