DCB Bank Share Price Hit 6-Year High, Jump Over 8% After Q3 FY26 Net Profit Rises 22%

DCB Bank share price (NSE: DCBBANK) jumped sharply on Tuesday, January 27, hitting their highest level in six years. The stock rose over 8% to ₹198 on the NSE, marking its strongest level since January 2020.
Over the past year, the stock has gained more than 66%, far outperforming the Nifty 50, which rose about 10% during the same period. The bank’s market capitalisation stands at around ₹6,296 crore.
DCB Bank Q3 FY26 Earnings Results Drive Rally
The rally came after DCB Bank reported a strong performance for the December quarter (Q3FY26). Net interest income rose 9% year-on-year to ₹625 crore, while net profit increased 22% to ₹185 crore.
Despite a marginal dip in net interest margins to 3.27%, earnings remained strong due to controlled costs and healthy loan growth.
Asset Quality Improves Further
Asset quality showed steady improvement during the quarter. Gross NPAs declined to 2.72% from 2.91% in the previous quarter, while net NPAs fell to 1.10% from 1.21%. Credit costs remained low, supporting profitability.
Management highlighted that both GNPA and NNPA are at their lowest levels in 3 years, even after absorbing a one-time ₹26.87 crore impact due to the new Labour Codes.

Loan, Deposit Growth and Capital Position
DCB Bank reported 18% year-on-year growth in advances and 20% growth in deposits. The capital adequacy ratio stood at a comfortable 15.84% in Q3FY26, providing room for future growth.
