Chalet Hotels has approved plans to develop a new luxury hotel in Hyderabad, expanding its footprint in one of India’s fastest-growing hospitality markets. The project will mark the company’s third property in the city.
The upcoming development will feature around 330 luxury rooms along with nearly 36,255 sq. ft. of commercial and retail space in Madhapur. The hotel will be built within a larger building complex that the company will take on a warm shell lease.
Hyderabad continues to see strong demand from IT, corporate and convention segments, making it a strategic market for premium hospitality operators. The new property is aimed at strengthening Chalet’s presence in the city’s high-demand business corridor.
The project is expected to be completed by FY2029, adding significant room inventory to the company’s portfolio.
The total investment for the development is estimated at around ₹6,328 million, including security deposits. The company plans to fund the project through a mix of internal accruals and debt.
The addition is in line with Chalet Hotels’ long-term expansion strategy focused on scaling premium assets in key urban markets.
With this move, the company continues to prioritise asset growth in high-performing metropolitan clusters where demand visibility remains strong.
