Central Bank of India has expanded its product offerings for customers by entering into a partnership with HSBC Asset Management (India) Private Limited to distribute mutual fund products across its network. 

Details of the Distribution Arrangement 

Under the agreement, Central Bank of India will distribute mutual fund products of HSBC Asset Management (India) Private Limited to its customers.  

The arrangement is aimed at providing customers access to a wider range of investment options, enabling them to explore mutual fund products as part of their savings and investment planning. 

Profile of HSBC Asset Management 

HSBC Asset Management (India) Private Limited was established in 2001 and serves as the asset management company for HSBC Mutual Fund. HSBC Mutual Fund operates as a trust, with HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India) Private Limited as its sponsor and HSBC Trustees (India) Private Limited acting as trustee.  

In November 2022, HSBC Asset Management acquired L&T Investment Management Limited, the asset management business of L&T Financial Holdings Limited. 

HSBC Asset Management reported a daily average assets under management of ₹1,38,654 crore in December 2025, reflecting the scale of its operations in the Indian mutual fund market.

Central Bank of India Share Price Performance  

As of February 1, 2026, at 12:23 PM, Central Bank of India share price is trading at ₹36.28 per share, reflecting a decline of 1.17% from the previous closing price. Over the past month, the stock has declined by 3.51%.
