Ather Energy Q3FY26 Earnings Results: Reports ₹85 Crore Loss, Revenue Rises 50% YoY

Ather Energy reported a net loss of ₹84.6 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025. This compares with a loss of ₹197.5 crore in the same quarter last year. The loss was also lower than ₹154.1 crore reported in the September quarter.
Revenue Grows 50% Year-on-Year
Revenue from operations rose to ₹953.6 crore during the quarter, up 50% from ₹634.9 crore a year earlier. Including other income, total income stood at ₹995.7 crore, compared with around ₹650 crore in the corresponding period last year. Higher scooter deliveries contributed to the increase.
Highest-Ever Quarterly Volumes
The company recorded its highest quarterly sales volume at 67,851 units, a 50% rise from the year-ago period. In January 2026, Ather sold around 20,780 electric scooters. Data from the Vahan portal showed the company had a 16.3% market share during the month, ranking third in the electric two-wheeler segment.
Expenses Rise with Scale-up
Total expenses for the quarter increased to ₹1,075.3 crore, up 26.8% from ₹847.9 crore in the year-ago period. Raw material and component costs remained the largest expense as production volumes increased. Employee benefit expenses and other operating costs also rose during the quarter.
EBITDA Loss Reduces
The EBITDA loss stood at ₹29.9 crore for the December quarter. The company said its overall quarterly loss narrowed by 45% compared with Q2 FY26, reflecting changes in cost structure as volumes increased.
Electric Two-Wheeler Market
India’s electric two-wheeler segment continues to see strong competition and pricing pressure. Manufacturers have been increasing volumes while managing costs amid shifting demand patterns. Peer Ola Electric reported a narrower loss in its September quarter, though its revenue declined year-on-year.

As of February 3, 2026, 10:32 am, Ather Energy share price was trading at ₹663.80, a 9.44% increase from the previous closing price.
