Ashok Leyland, a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, has released its sales figures for April 2026, showcasing a notable increase in domestic sales.  

The company has experienced growth across various segments, particularly in the Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) category. 

Domestic Sales Performance in April 2026 

In April 2026, Ashok Leyland's domestic sales reached 14,242 units, marking a 14% rise compared to April 2025. The Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (M&HCV) trucks segment saw a 15% increase, with 6,814 units sold.  

However, M&HCV bus sales declined by 22%, with 1,163 units sold. The total M&HCV sales rose by 8% to 7,977 units. 

The LCV segment demonstrated strong performance, with sales climbing by 23% to 6,265 units. This growth significantly contributed to the overall increase in domestic sales. 

Combined Domestic and Export Sales 

When considering both domestic and export sales, Ashok Leyland sold a total of 14,646 vehicles in April 2026, a 9% increase from the previous year.  

M&HCV trucks sales grew by 15% to 7,007 units, while M&HCV bus sales decreased by 30% to 1,295 units. The total M&HCV sales increased by 4% to 8,302 units. 

LCV sales, including exports, rose by 16% to 6,344 units, further boosting the company's overall sales performance.

Ashok Leyland Share Price Performance 

As of May 04, 2026, at 9:19 AM, Ashok Leyland share price on NSE was trading at ₹160.75 down by 0.83% from the previous closing price.
