ACME Solar Holdings has secured a 301 MW / 1,204 MWh assured peak supply project under the SECI FDRE-VII tender. The capacity was won through an e-reverse auction conducted on 5 February 2026.

The company, in its filing, said the formal Letter of Award is expected in the coming period.

Contract Structure

Under the tender terms, the project must supply 4 MWh for every MW of contracted capacity during any four hours each day. The supply is limited to non-solar hours.

The project must also meet availability levels of 70% on a monthly basis and 85% on an annual basis, as required under the bid conditions.

Generation and Storage Plan

To meet these conditions, the project will combine solar generation with a battery energy storage system. The company plans to use its existing night-time grid connectivity to deliver power during the contracted peak hours.

Contracted Capacity Position

After this award, ACME Solar’s contracted portfolio stands at 8,071 MW across solar, wind, storage, hybrid, FDRE and round-the-clock projects.

Out of this, around 2,962 MW is operational, while 5,109 MW is under construction. The under-construction pipeline includes about 17 GWh of battery storage and power purchase agreements for 2,668 MW.
