ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its subsidiary ACME Urja One Private Limited, has entered a long‑term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NHPC Limited to develop a 250 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project connected to ISTS substations.
The agreement, signed on January 29, 2026, requires a minimum annual capacity utilisation factor of 40% and obliges the supplier to meet 90% of peak power demand for four hours each day on a monthly basis. The expected capacity utilisation factor exceeds 60%.
ACME Solar will invest approximately ₹3,700 crore to establish the FDRE project. Land acquisition is underway with about 40% of the required area already secured. The project will be linked to existing ISTS substations, for which connectivity approvals are in place.

Following this agreement, ACME Solar’s total signed PPA portfolio reaches 5,630 MW. The company also maintains a pipeline of 2,140 MW where letters of award have been issued or are pending.
Current operational contracted capacity stands at 2,962 MW, with under‑construction capacity of 4,808 MW, including roughly 16 GWh of battery energy storage systems.
