
AAVAS Financiers share price (NSE: AAVAS) declined about 7% in intraday trade, touching a 52-week low near ₹1,283 after the company announced its Q3 FY26 results. The stock has now fallen for eight straight trading sessions, losing around 14% during this period and nearly 43% from its April 2025 peak.
AAVAS Financiers is an affordable housing finance company that mainly serves low- and middle-income, self-employed customers in semi-urban and rural India. Its products include home loans, loans for construction or repair, loans against property, and MSME loans.
The December quarter showed stable profitability, steady margins, and healthy asset quality. However, loan disbursements remained weak, leading to slower growth in assets under management (AUM) than expected.
AUM growth stood at about 15% year-on-year, slightly lower than the previous quarter, mainly due to muted disbursements.
Management expects better disbursements in Q4 supported by new branch additions.

AAVAS Financiers remains fundamentally stable, but slower loan growth and rising competition have weighed on investor sentiment. Future stock performance will depend on stronger disbursements and consistent AUM expansion.
