Once the daily wage is determined, the hourly wage is calculated by dividing it by 8 working hours. The monthly wage is derived by multiplying the daily wage by 26 working days. Rounding rules ensure simplicity: fractions of one-half or more are rounded up, while smaller fractions are ignored.

For workers on a five-day workweek, the same hourly rate is applied to compute daily wages.
The central government will also consider geographical location, skill level, and work experience when fixing wages. Workers are classified as unskilled, semi-skilled, skilled, or highly skilled. However, minimum wages for central government employees will not be determined under the Code on Wages.
