Quant Mutual Fund has announced the appointment of Mahendra Jajoo as whole-time director on the board of Quant Money Managers Limited, effective January 14, 2026.
The fund house communicated this development to unitholders through a notice-cum-addendum to the Statement of Additional Information. The appointment strengthens the senior leadership of the asset management company at a time when the fund house is witnessing rapid growth in assets under management.
Mahendra Jajoo brings over three decades of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Quant Mutual Fund, he served as Chief Investment Officer for Fixed Income at Mirae Asset Investment Managers India.
During his tenure, he played a central role in managing and expanding several debt schemes of Mirae Asset Mutual Fund. His career spans prominent institutions including ICICI, ABN AMRO, Tata Group, Pramerica Asset Managers, and Tata Asset Management, giving him deep expertise across credit markets and investment strategy.
Jajoo’s leadership at Mirae Asset Mutual Fund between August 2016 and November 2025 was marked by significant expansion in the debt franchise. The fund house’s debt assets grew from ₹321 crore in August 2016 to over ₹32,000 crore by November 2025, despite a challenging interest rate and credit environment.
Earlier in December 2025, Mirae Asset had announced the completion of his transition from the role of CIO – Fixed Income.
As of December 2025, Quant Mutual Fund managed assets worth ₹93,963 crore across 29 schemes, including 21 equity funds, five hybrid funds, and three debt funds.
The fund house has emerged as one of the fastest-growing AMCs in recent years. The company clarified that the latest addendum forms part of the SAI and all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
