Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund has launched a new exchange-traded fund linked to IPO listings on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The Motilal Oswal BSE Select IPO ETF opened for subscription on November 20, 2025, closed on the same day, and its units were scheduled for allotment on November 20, 2025. The minimum investment for the NFO is ₹500.
This ETF follows the BSE Select IPO Index, a benchmark built from companies that enter the market through initial public offerings and list on the BSE. The fund aims to match the index’s overall return before expenses. Performance can differ slightly from the index due to tracking error, which is common in passive schemes.
The scheme falls under the Index Funds/ETF category and is structured as an open-ended fund. It is available only under a regular plan with a Growth option, without separate dividend choices. The fund is marked Very High Risk on the Risk-o-Meter.
There is no entry or exit load for investors when buying or selling units. As per SEBI rules, a 0.005% stamp dutyapplies to mutual fund purchases, including lump sum investments, SIPs, STPs and dividend reinvestment, wherever applicable. No additional load-based charges are mentioned for this ETF.
The ETF will be overseen by Rakesh Shetty, Dishant Mehta and Swapnil Mayekar. Their role involves maintaining the portfolio in line with the respective IPO-based index and managing tracking-related adjustments when required.
Motilal Oswal AMC reported ₹131,849.02 crore in Assets Under Management (AUM) as of September 30, 2025. Investor servicing and record handling for this scheme will be carried out by KFin Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
