DSP Mutual Fund has introduced a new fixed maturity scheme called DSP FMP Series 277 – 789 Days (Direct – Growth). It is open for subscription from November 27 to December 1, 2025.

The scheme is closed-end, meaning investors can only enter during the offer period and must stay invested until maturity. The minimum application amount is ₹5,000, and the plan is available in Growth, IDCW, and IDCW Quarterly options.

Closed-End Debt Structure

The fund has a tenure of 789 days, after which units will be redeemed automatically. Investors cannot withdraw or redeem units before maturity. The scheme falls under the Debt: Fixed Maturity category and carries a high-risk label on the Riskometer.

Returns are not assured and depend on the performance of the underlying debt portfolio.

Investment Objective and Portfolio

The scheme aims to generate income through investments in debt and money market instruments. All securities selected for the portfolio are planned to mature on or before the fund’s maturity date.

This structure reduces exposure beyond the scheme’s tenure. The benchmark for performance comparison is the NIFTY Short Duration Debt Index C-II.

Management and Registrar Details

The fund will be managed by Karan Mundhra, under DSP Investment Managers Pvt Ltd. Investor transactions and records will be handled by Computer Age Management Services Ltd. (CAMS), acting as registrar and transfer agent.
