Bank of India Mutual Fund has launched a new open-ended equity scheme, Bank of India Mid Cap Fund. The New Fund Offer (NFO) opens for subscription on July 31, 2025, and will close on August 14, 2025. The scheme aims to invest predominantly in equity and equity-related instruments of mid-cap companies.

Investment Objective 

The fund seeks to generate long-term capital appreciation by targeting mid-cap firms with growth potential. It will be benchmarked against the Nifty Midcap 150 Total Return Index. Fund management will be handled by Alok Singh.

Minimum Investment and Exit Load

Investors can subscribe with a minimum investment of ₹5,000, and in multiples of ₹1 thereafter. An exit load of 1%applies if units are redeemed or switched out within 60 days from the date of allotment. There is no exit load after 60 days.

The fund will adopt a bottom-up stock-picking strategy and maintain exposure across sectors such as financials, industrials, healthcare, and consumer. It will aim for diversification both at the stock and sector levels.

Fund House Positioning 

The scheme is positioned to capture opportunities in mid-sized companies with scalable business models and operational track records. BOIIM has previous experience managing equity funds with mid-cap exposure and will apply similar risk management frameworks. The fund aims to align with this trend by selecting companies with sector-specific growth drivers.
