
Canara Robeco Mid Cap Fund has reached an Asset Under Management figure of ₹3,996.69 crore as of November 28, 2025. The fund completed its 3-year record during a period of rising interest in mid-cap schemes.
Data from AMFI shows that AUM for the mid-cap category grew 150% between October 2022 and October 2025.
As per news reports, the scheme, launched in December 2022, has delivered a Compounded Annual Growth Rate of 20.75% since inception under its Regular Plan – Growth Option.
Over the same period, the benchmark BSE 150 Mid Cap TRI reported a CAGR of 22.22%, while the BSE Sensex TRI, used as an additional benchmark, recorded 12.31%.
For the 1-year period ending November 28, 2025, the fund posted returns of 6.37%. This compares with 5.10% for the benchmark and 8.72% for the additional benchmark.
A ₹10,000 investment at launch would have grown to ₹17,580, whereas the benchmark equivalent would stand at ₹18,225 and the BSE Sensex TRI at ₹14,153.
The scheme is structured as an open-ended equity fund focused on mid-cap stocks. Under SEBI’s category norms, it may allocate 65-100% of its assets to mid-cap equities.
The remainder can be invested in other equities, debt, or money-market instruments, with a maximum of 10% permitted in REITs and InvITs. The fund is managed by Pranav Gokhale and Shridatta Bhandwaldar, who also serves as CIO – Equities.

With its 3-year history now completed, the Canara Robeco Mid Cap Fund has built a sizeable AUM base and delivered returns that show movement in the broader mid-cap segment and its stated investment strategy.
