Bajaj Finserv Mutual Fund has crossed one million investor folios a little over 2 years after it started operations. As of September 30, 2025, the fund house reported total assets under management (AUM) of ₹28,814.16 crore across its active and passive schemes.

Portfolio Breakdown

The mutual fund manages 17 active schemes and 5 passive funds. The active portfolio includes 8 equity, 5 debt, and 4 hybrid schemes. Equity schemes account for ₹12,727 crore of the total AUM, followed by debt at ₹11,520 crore, hybrid at ₹3,339 crore, and passive funds at ₹1,228 crore.

Investor Profile

A majority of the fund’s assets come from urban centres. Around 67% of investments are from the top five cities, while the next ten contribute about 11%. The rest of the inflows come from smaller towns and semi-urban locations, showing limited penetration in non-metro areas.

Industry Context

The milestone comes as the Indian mutual fund industry continues to record steady inflows. According to AMFI data, SIP inflows reached ₹29,361 crore in September, compared with ₹28,265 crore in August, showing a month-on-month rise of 4%. The industry’s total AUM stood at ₹75.61 lakh crore at the end of September.

SIP assets contributed ₹15.52 lakh crore, which is around 20.2% of the total industry AUM. The increase reflects higher participation from retail investors through systematic plans and online investment channels.
