Utkarsh Small Finance Bank has announced a rights issue to raise up to ₹950 crore. The issue offers fully paid-up equity shares of ₹10 each at a price of ₹14 per share, including a premium of ₹4. The entire amount is payable at the time of application. This rights issue is intended to strengthen the bank’s capital base and support its future growth plans.
The record date for determining eligible shareholders was Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Only those shareholders who hold shares on this date will have the right to subscribe to the rights issue. If you buy shares now, after the record date, you will not be eligible to apply for the rights shares, as eligibility is based on the shareholder list as of the record date.
The issue opens on Friday, October 24, 2025, and the last date for on-market renunciation is Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Off-market renunciation can be done until Friday, October 31, 2025, and the rights issue will close on Monday, November 3, 2025. The Board reserves the right to extend the closing date by up to 30 days from the issue opening date.

Investors should note that to be eligible for Utkarsh Small Finance Bank’s rights issue, they must already be shareholders on the record date of October 14, 2025. Buying shares after this date will not grant subscription rights. Eligible shareholders can apply for the rights shares during the issue period and receive them in their demat accounts once allotted.
